DCDEE (NC DHHS)
5–20 hours / year
North Carolina sets your ongoing hours by your education and credentials (5 to 20 hours a year), and training must be DCDEE-approved to count. Ask Camille about DCDEE-approved formats and certificates for your records.

Requirements come from DECAL (GA), SC DSS / SC Endeavors (SC) and DCDEE (NC) and can change — Camille will confirm exactly how a training applies to your state and role.
What it means
What "DECAL-approved" really means
DECAL — the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, also known as Bright from the Start (BFTS) — sets the professional-development standards for the state's licensed child care programs. Training that is "DECAL-approved" is recognised toward your required annual clock hours.
Because Camille is an approved trainer, you don't have to wonder whether a workshop will count. Her trainings align with GELDS, Georgia Pre-K, Quality Rated and NAEYC developmentally appropriate practice — and every participant receives a DECAL CEU certificate for their records.
Outside Georgia? Camille also supports early educators in South Carolina and North Carolina — the state-by-state breakdown above shows how her hours apply through SC Endeavors and DCDEE.
