SC Endeavors: How to Log In and Submit an Individual Training Request

Short answer (South Carolina): SC Endeavors is South Carolina's professional registry for the early childhood workforce. You log in to your SC Endeavors account, and to make training taken outside the system count, you submit an Individual Training Request (ITR) with your certificate. Approved hours post to your registry transcript and count toward the 15 clock hours a year South Carolina requires (20 hours for directors), with up to 5 hours of carryover.

What is SC Endeavors?

SC Endeavors is the statewide system that supports South Carolina's early care and education professionals. It maintains your registry profile and training transcript, connects to ABC Quality (South Carolina's quality rating system, overseen by SC DSS — the Department of Social Services), and is where your annual training hours are verified.

Two things live in your SC Endeavors account:

How to log in to SC Endeavors

1. Go to the SC Endeavors website and select the registry login.
2. Sign in with your email and password. New professionals create a membership account first, then complete their profile.
3. Open your training transcript to see recorded hours and your progress toward the annual requirement.

How to submit an Individual Training Request (ITR)

Some approved training is added automatically. But when you complete a session that is not already in the system — for example, a workshop from an outside trainer — you make it count by submitting an Individual Training Request:

1. Log in to SC Endeavors and open the Individual Training Request section.
2. Enter the training details — title, trainer, date, and number of clock hours.
3. Upload your certificate of completion as proof.
4. Submit and wait for review. Once approved, the hours post to your transcript and count toward your requirement.
